About Eye Color Analyzer & Scanner
Eye Color Analyzer is an eye color app and a library of guides about eye color, rarity, genetics and how eyes change.
Who makes it
Eye Color Analyzer is built and maintained by Andy JD, an independent software developer.
On Google Play the app is published under the developer name PolygonFleet.
What the app can and cannot do
You take or upload a clear photo of your eye, and the app uses AI to describe the colors and zones it sees in your iris and how common that color is.
Lighting, camera and filters change how an eye looks in a photo, so a result is an estimate, not a measurement. The app is not a medical test: a sudden or one-sided change in eye color is a reason to see an eye doctor.
How the guides are made
Each guide is drafted with AI assistance, then reviewed and edited by Andy JD before it is published. Health and genetics facts are checked against sources such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and MedlinePlus; where a guide relies on one, it links to it in the text.
A guide's "Updated" date changes when its content changes in a meaningful way, not for small wording edits.
